About this vacancy

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for specifying, designing, and delivering system functions. You will be responsible for complex Mechatronic assemblies and/or fully integrated systems; in design, production, assembly or testing. Key aspects include manufacturability, cost, reliability, and technical performance. You will make trade-offs and determine the preferred implementation for realization. You will review your colleagues designs and act as the owner of your modules during the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechatronic systems and components.
• Conduct simulations and testing to validate designs.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Participate in project planning and management.
• Document design processes and results.

What we expect from you

• Bachelors degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in high-tech, precision equipment, contamination control, vacuum technology
• Driven to define concepts, functions, and interfaces
• Accurate, flexible, and motivated to take on challenges
• Team player, both within the company and towards customers, consortium partners, and suppliers
• Entrepreneurial spirit and willing to contribute to the growth of the company
• Efficient in handling time pressure, budget constraints, and setting priorities
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English
• Analytical, pragmatic, creative, proactive, and motivated
