About the vacancy:

The Decision Support Centre or DSC will bundle our expert-knowledge into one regional unit that will provide a 24/7 support to our operations, think of activities like providing insights for efficiency improvements, overall site- and network monitoring, forecasting and technical support for our sites, using our collective competence and sharing best practices and learnings from the past. All with the aim of enhancing our overall operational effectiveness and ensuring our future growth is sustainable.

We need superheroes to join us on this transformational journey: Colleagues with site experience that want to shape the future of NewCold, that are able to coach, support, improve and preferably prevent but if not, then solve a crisis situation with a site. That can create trust and easily communicate with the colleagues on site and that are willing to work in a 24/7 environment, and that are interested to live & work in Breda!

What will you do?

• Monitoring site operations (MFCS, WMS (MLS & Corax) including VAL-activities like mixing process. (Software in GLA)
• Control WMS settings & strategies
• Secure MHE/flow optimization, MFCS
• Keep WMS and MFCS in sync
• Perform error analysis and initiate the solutions at site
• Monitoring of Automation parts in the process. (exchanger, double stacks, System boards)
• Maintenance picking floors (preventive)
• Monitoring data-transfers between customers and site (EDI and non-EDI)
• Analyze data and provide insights to site-operations and executives
• Monitor workload screens
• Provide site-support, being the 1st line support for operational issues, redirect issues to 2nd line experts
• Ensure proper execution of customer requirements

Who are we looking for?

You have:

• Studies or relevant working experience in Applied Science, business logistics, HBO logistic management
• 3 - 7 years experience working with a WMS (MLS & Corax is a plus)
• 3 - 7 years experience working as team lead in a NewCold warehouse or as lead-planner or LS/IT
• Understanding Material Flow Conveyer, elevator, cranes (conventional loop, monorail) recognize PLC-control
• Ability to prioritize and high level of organizational skills
• Communicating with sites at operational level as well as with executive level
• Work with Cyber security, Schuberg-Phillis, use AXIS for cameras that hang on site
• Preferably Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt certification
• Professional English skills (any other European language is a plus
