Web Developer

We are looking for a motivated, dynamic, and multi-talented General Manager to take the lead of not two, but three exciting attractions in the heart of Amsterdam. This role requires a creative and laser focussed person to drive the strategy for Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, The Amsterdam Dungeon and This Is Holland.

Reporting to the Regional Director for the Europe region, the key aim of this role is to deliver the financial targets for the attraction whilst maintaining the brand standards of presentation and operation on a daily basis. Your team of superstar Marketing, Finance Operational and Technical leaders will work with you to create and execute a marketing strategy which drives visitor volume to the attractions and ensures that the visitor experience is continually memorable for our guests.

You will be measured on key performance indicators across all aspects of the business. Critical to this role will be your ability to lead and motivate the team to ensure excellent standards of guest service, presentation, and maintenance. One day you could be organising a glamorous new figure launch at Madame Tussauds, the next, things could get spooky with a new Scary Fun show at the Dungeons or you’ll be showcasing the highlights of the Netherlands at This Is Holland!

We are looking for the following skills and experience;

• A flair for networking, communicating and building strong, lasting relationships across the business.
• You must have significant management experience at a senior level in a complex, multi-functional commercial business, preferably in the attraction/tourism field.
• Possess excellent commercial and financial acumen as well as possessing real creative flair.
• Experience of developing and executing business plans is a must.
• Have excellent communication and motivational skills, a real passion for this business and the ability to manage relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken Dutch and English is needed for this role.
