Introduction
The People Manager - security testing & resolution management is a key position in our dynamic environment with a direct strategical impact on ASML as it relates to a key risk domain in our security.
Role and responsibilities:
Goal of the role:
To design, deliver, expand and mature the 1st line security centralized services to IT, OT & R&D.
As manager of the Security Testing & Resolution Management Team (STRM), you are responsible for running the STRM team (3 direct and ca. 25-30 indirect reports. The three pillars of the team consist out of Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Management and Testing & advisory of security requirement compliance.
You report into the Head of Security Operations. STRM is part of the central ASML Security organization from within the Risk and Business Assurance department. You drive the testing and resolution process and the delivery of centralized 1st line of defense security services in the field of IT, OT & Product Security. You run the team to protect the company against cybercrime such as ransomware, but also to bolster the security control on IP and information assets in the global ASML Landscape such as network, cloud, applications, servers, laptops etc. This is done in collaboration with the Security Incident Response Team (SIRT), the RBA 2nd line security teams, the Sector Risk Manager and Sector facing teams and the ASML sectors.
A grasp of your responsibilities:
- Closely collaborate with SIRT, ASML Sectors and RBA 2nd line security teams for structural security incident/issue resolution.
- Create an effective working governance between the 1st line security centralized services into the sectors.
- Drive the resolution process to completeness across all sectors.
- Operationalizing the STRM team to enable it to deliver on its mission by managing internal processes and resources related to its own finances, supply chain, talent, capacity, project management, service delivery, technology, knowledge, and quality.
- People Development, Succession planning and Capability Management. Manage the capabilities and capacity of the team. Ensure that Development Action Plans are in place and develop the team. Succession planning for critical roles in place.
- Drive and own the security vulnerabilities to get resolved across ASML.

Ideally we are looking for someone who brings a strong technical background whilst also having acted in management positions, having a keen sense of how to manage internal- and external stakeholders whilst managing a team at the same time. Summarized:
- 8+ years of management experience, preferably in a multinational corporate IT security environment;
- Proven track record in Security at strategic and tactical level;
- Experienced in working with and leading multi-disciplinary teams in an agile (SAFe) environment;
- Master’s degree working and thinking level.
Other Information
- Knowledge of project management (Agile/Scaled Agile/Prince2 / PMBoK/ APMP / MSP);
- You are in possession of a valid work permit for The Netherlands;
- Knowledge of security frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, SANS, ISA / IEC 62443k and Compliance;
- Either a GICSP, CISM, CISSP, or CISA certificate: considered as a must.
