In the team of Jurgen Hieringer were hiring a Protocal Specialist for Protection, Automation and Control Systems to ensure new and existing Automation Technology assets.
Your responsibilities:
- You will develop and review technical specifications, guidelines, policies and decision papers (as the Document Owner) with regards to the usage of protocols in the field of Protection, Automation and Control (PAC);
- You will prepare technical tender documents, evaluate the offers in tenders and support of technical negotiations. The focus will be on the usage of protocols used in TenneT;
- You will participate in expert groups for Protection, Automation and Control (PAC);
- You align with internal stakeholders in order to identify the needs with regards to protocols and the right implementation of these;
- Introduces new technologies and further technological development, assessment and integration of innovations in technology with focus on the usage of protocols like IEC 61850 and/or IEC 60870-5-101/104.
Your profile and background - Successfully completed degree with a technical background, preferably with a specialization in the field of automation, information technology or electrical engineering, or alternatively you have a comparable qualification;
- Experience in the usage of the protocols IEC 61850 or IEC 60870-5(-101/104). Preferable in the field of control/automation systems;
- Preferably you have experience with the energy industry (DSO, TSO, manufacturer, etc.) or similar industries in which Protection Automation and Control systems are used (Oil & Gas, Chemical Industry, etc.);
- You have strong teamwork skills and youre preferably experienced in working with international teams and bring a high degree of assertiveness and initiative;
- With a high degree of responsibility and quality awareness as well as your independent way of working, your work will support the security of supply in the high voltage grid of Netherlands;
- You have very good communication skills in writing and speaking in Dutch (C level) and English.
