Your challenge as a Security Test Engineer

Enhancing the quality and security of our solutions is crucial to the successful delivery of our IT projects. We focus on three fundamental areas of government operations: tax, social security, and permits & licensing. In this challenging role, you’ll take charge of security testing and you contribute to the further development and professionalization of security testing within our company. Using a structured approach, for instance from TMap NEXT or ISTQB, you use your up-to-date knowledge of security testing and your extensive experience with tooling like Burpsuite to thoroughly test our solutions and infrastructure for vulnerabilities.

Your Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification, shows that you have the theoretical foundation of security testing and you keep developing your skills and stay on top of new developments in the field. Within Blyce, you can grow to become the expert on security testing and the go-to-person for security-related questions and issues.

Your team

As our dedicated security tester, you are part of our young, international, and diverse test team, consisting of 17 colleagues located mainly in the Netherlands, Curaçao, Suriname and Colombia. In this team, knowledge and passion for the testing profession are shared to further elevate the level of the team and to assist you in your growth and development.

• An excellent gross salary between EUR 3.770 to 6.320 per month (based on experience and full-time employment in the Netherlands).
• A one-year contract followed by an indefinite contract when we are the perfect match.

What do we need from you?

• You have at least 5 years of work experience as a security tester.
• You have an HBO level of education and thinking.
• You have a degree in Computer Science or a similar field of study.
• You are a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or have Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.
• TMap NEXT or ISTQB certification is a plus.
• You have extensive experience with Burpsuite Enterprise edition.
• You have a critical eye and excellent analytical skills.
• You speak and write perfect English. Dutch is a plus.
