Position Overview:

As the Legal Counsel, you play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive legal services to upper management, ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities extend to supporting loss prevention, overseeing disciplinary actions, providing legal oversight on employee relations and labor issues, assisting in mergers and acquisitions or partnerships, addressing work council requirements in Europe, and ensuring GDPR compliance. Collaborating closely with executive management, you assess risks, draft contracts, and navigate legal complexities to safeguard the companys interests and foster its growth. Your proactive approach, sound legal guidance, and ability to navigate complex legal landscapes are essential in driving the companys success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing accurate legal guidance to management on organizational matters.
• Overseeing compliance and risk management for in-house legal teams.
• Establishing internal governance policies and monitoring compliance with regional legislation.
• Attending meetings related to the future direction of the organization.
• Ensuring legal compliance for mergers and acquisitions activities.
• Drafting vendor contracts and other legal documents.
• Managing complex issues with stakeholders and authorities.
• Researching and advising on various legal issues impacting the company.
• Offering legal support and advice to upper management.
• Calculating and managing risks in business processes and decision-making.
• Drafting legal documents such as contracts and agreements.
• Keeping abreast of changes in legislation relevant to the company.

Education, Skills, Knowledge:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Law or related field.
• Previous experience as a Legal Counsel or in a relevant legal position.
• Professional License of Legal practice is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of administrative and corporate laws.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and research skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
