We are looking for the next Jr. Production Planner to join our team located in Carrollton, TX!

About You

As the Junior Production Planner, you will be working with the MRP for planning and scheduling process orders based on demand and material availability. You will report and coordinate material/capacity issues appropriately to other departments - Production, QC, Raw Material Planning, Shop Floor Controllers and Customer Service. To be successful in those role, you will have a high school diploma, 3+ years work experience in the manufacturing planning process using ana MPR system, and flexibility in new situations. You will have excellent interpersonal sills and the ability to effectively communicate with others.

As a Junior Production Planner, your responsibilities are:

• Working with the MRP, review materials availability, plan and schedule Process Orders for release to Production.

• Communicate and coordinate closely with customer service department to ensure on time shipments.

• Report and resolve material shortage issues, working with inventory control and/or purchasing.

• Work closely with Shop Floor Controllers to ensure the proper work flow is being released to production.

• Communicate and coordinate with the Production department to ensure on time customer shipments.

• Particpate and coordinate with R&D, Customer Service, and manufacturing on new product introductions.

• Safety - Knows the appropriate standards, can find the correct procedure and follows accordingly. Attendance at safety classes and training sessions. Know emergency protocols and respond quickly and effectively.

Required Skills

Required Experience

• 8 hours Shift, 5 days a week.
• Flexible based on fluctuations (surge) in customer ordering patterns.
