As a System Administrator, you are the content driver of our internal IT department, with a focus on security and our enterprise architecture.

What you do

As a System Administrator, you are responsible for the IT foundation that we all use to deliver our services. Our environment is broad and dynamic: multiple Microsoft 365 and Azure tenants, centrally managed Linux servers, Mac endpoints, and in addition to the head office in Utrecht, smaller offices in Germany and soon Sweden.

Terraform, Ansible and Python are primarily used for automation and infrastructure. You ensure that new IT requirements are met, while continuously improving existing components. You carry out more complex technical work yourself. With your knowledge and experience, you help our IT projects to the next level.

Your focus is on the design and overview of our IT landscape. You help to set up new systems securely and help to better secure existing systems. You are in contact with the CTO (Chief Technology Officer), the SOC (Security Operations Centre) and the Security&PrivacyOffice.

The team

The internal IT department is a team of 3 system administrators with a dedicated developer and business analyst. The IT team works together with technical experts from the other Northwave "Bytes" teams (CERT; Blue Team; Red Team) to exchange knowledge and expertise. You report to the IT Manager.
