To support our expansion, we are looking for aBusiness Development Managerwith experience inSeafoodto work alongside our well respected and tenured business development team inthe Benelux.

What will you be doing?

You will be joining the team at a time of fast company growth and a need to bring all clients under the same company following several acquisitions.

You will proactively make meaningful connections and build relationships with potential new customers/prospects to understand their requirements and sellcoldstorage space andlogisticsservicesthat meet their business needs,whilst managing their expectations to ensure that we deliver on those services as promised.

Tasks include:

• Maintaining proactive contact with prospect customers - arranging meetings andkeeping in touch- whilst updating records in our sales database

• Havinga proactive approach with existing and new clients toidentifynew deal opportunities.

• Keepingup withfishingseasonalitytoanticipatebusiness opportunities

• Dealing with inbound sales queries from potential customers

• Responding to formal tenders

• Creating individually tailored proposals for prospect customers, in line with their specific storage, distribution and ancillary service requirements

What do you need to be successful in this role?

As a market leader we are well known in our industry and customers are often aware of the value of ourservicesbut this is a relationship driven industry and you will enjoy getting to know potential customers and building longstanding relationships with them.

We can teach you about ourbusinessandservices,but youmustbe a proactive personwho isnaturally inquisitive. If you like to ask questions and get energy from building productive relationships with people,then this is a role you will enjoy!

To thrive in this role,youllneed:

• Experience trading seafood

• Connections with the shipping and fishing industries

• Sales experience in a structured and professionalorganisation, preferably with multinationalpresence

• Experience working to individual targets

• Experience generating sales leadsandresponding totenders

• English to a professional level

• Fluency in Dutch is essential
