Discover the challenging role of refrigeration technician and join the passionate team at Maersk in Rotterdam (Maasvlakte 2)!

As a reefer mechanic, you are the expert in maintaining and repairing refrigerated containers (reefers). Your skills ensure that these containers are in optimal condition, allowing valuable cargoes to arrive safely and fresh at their final destination.

With your expertise, you conduct inspections and repairs on reefer units and gensets, always in accordance with STEK guidelines. You handle special requests effortlessly, such as modifications and retrievals. Additionally, you play a supporting role in terminal-related reefer activities, including monitoring, repairs, and temperature controls.

Wat vragen wij?

  • Pre-education and affinity with technology;
  • to 1 year of experience in a similar role;
  • Knowledge of inspections and repairs is a plus;
  • Proficiency in Dutch and/or English language;
  • Ability to work independently and in a team;
  • Physically capable of performing assemblies;
  • Mandatory application for a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
What we offer:

  • €18.74 gross per hour
  • €0.23 per kilometer reimbursement (if using a car)
  • Employment contract through Adecco
  • 8.33% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days (for full-time)
