As our Accounts Payable Associate, you are responsible for correctly, timely, and efficiently executing tasks set out by the Financial Shared Service Centre (FSSC). The FSSC administrates the headquarters and several distribution centres in Europe.

How you’ll help us. Based out of our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reporting to the AP Manager, as part of the role, you’ll:

• Process Non-PO and PO (purchase order) invoices in multiple languages and currencies.
• Review and manage vendor master data.
• Ensure on-time invoice approvals.
• Assist with monthly accrued expenses and revenues.
• Review, analyse, and respond to external/internal supplier inquiries and perform supplier statement of account reconciliations.
• Identify legal invoice requirements and VAT requirements.

More about you.

• Qualification in Finance or Accounting.
• Education Basic Accounting Principles and knowledge of administrative processes (Dutch MBO-level or equivalent).
• Demonstrated knowledge of SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes, preferably.
• 1-3 years of experience working as an AP accountant, preferably in a multinational accounting environment.
