Your contribution to TenneT

As a Delivery Lead Self-Service Analytics & Reporting, you are accountable for enabling instant access to data and insights by the business. This leads to cost reduction and efficient reuse of data in an accelerated time to market. At the moment your teams will deliver data products to be used by 1200 + report building and report users in TenneT. We expect this will grow to 2000 + end of this year.

The data products are delivered by a teams of in total 20+ individuals and augmented by external suppliers. You do this in close cooperation with your team, rest of BTO organization and key (business) stakeholders in the heart of the TenneT business and the new launched Business Technology Organization (BTO).

You will be at the forefront of setting up a new data platform, new way of working, introduction of a new Portfolio Process and scaling up with external teams.

Your primary responsibilities include, but not restricted to:

• Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business functions (internal customers) to enable the BTO vision, develop roadmap and new way of working for the recently launched BTO organization;
• Work collaboratively with the head and leads the BTO Digital & Data Leadership team in delivering the unit mission and vision;
• Enabling Data Product Owners to create a Product Vision and Roadmap for SSAR. The Product Vision includes the full Dev and Ops, IT services and related processes;
• Enabling the Scrum Master in staffing, creating and developing internal and external data teams (scrum/devops teams);
• Team of 20+ internal and external employees;
• Create and develop a community of excellence for setting the standards and guidelines and foster learning in the data analytics community;
• Establish a Great Place to Work for Data Professionals;
• Work closely with other BTO domains (platform teams / center of excellences / outsourced service partners) as well as internal functional departments like HR, Business Guidance and Procurement;
• Participate actively in the TenneT planning and portfolio management process (e.g., to provide transparency on team performance and priorities, guard team and product/platform/service interests);
• Empower team members and create a safe environment fostering innovation;
• upport development of your team members (e.g., perform HR tasks like individual performance management, learning and development) and supervise team members in establishing and achieving their personal development goals focused on domain goals;
• Establish a culture of transparency, ownership, commitment and continuous learning;

Your profile and background

• You have a customer-focused mindset;
• You are able to guide / educate / challenge key stakeholders in the organization towards one vision of BTO;
• You have hands-on experience of managing mid-sized cross-functional delivery teams with direct accountability for a minimum 3-5 years.

Furthermore:

• University education in a technical field is a must-have; MBA is a pre;
• Experienced in leading IT/ Digital change with the demonstrated ability to deliver stable and impactful IT solutions and services is a must-have;
• Experience working in hybrid with outsourced services is a must have;
• Fluency in English is a must; basic Dutch language skills (or an interest to learn) is necessary;
• Experience in Leading Agile teams (PAL-E certification).
