About the role

Your Impact as Technology Manager Electrification

As Technology Manager Electrification you would be responsible to deliver internal and external solutions through expert knowledge of heat pumps, develop innovative future products with patents, contribute to the technological vision and R&D roadmap, translate technical market information into development targets, and effectively manage and coach the project team.

• Establish and maintain a deep understanding of heat pump systems and components.
• Continuously gather and update relevant technology and market knowledge to maintain technological leadership.
• Initiate and lead research initiatives related to product portfolios, design rules, and new concepts.
• Maintain a structured and accessible knowledge database, ensuring knowledge is effectively shared with colleagues.
• Contribute to the development of the organizations R&D roadmap, focusing on both short-term and long-term technological goals.
• Develops the “product of the future”, USP is defined and protected by IP.
• Lead R&D project teams by planning, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress.
• Oversee product design within projects, ensuring optimal formation and performance of the technological team.
• Develop, coach, and train team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Communicate goals, expectations, and priorities clearly to team members and colleagues.
• Stay updated on global rules, laws, and norms related to heating technology, translating these into R&D targets.
• Build and maintain strong external relationships with customers, suppliers, universities, and other relevant entities.

About You

Essential skills & competencies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanics, Electrics, or Energy.
• Must have experience with heat pumps (development, application).
• Innovative, creative, and passionate about new heating technology.
• Effective teamwork contributor.
• Strong analytical skills and a strategic, helicopter view.
• Assertive, persuasive, and able to drive and challenge team members.
• Excellent networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Performance and results-focused personality.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Proficient in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
• Commercially savvy with the ability to deliver messages effectively to diverse audiences.
