Leadership scope: As Manager of the Product Tribe that is responisble for Heineken full order intake, is one of the most important roles in the team. This role is expected to support the smooth transformation to the target order management landscape of the Heineken organization. Drive best practices within the digital product team, supporting HEINEKEN’s key strategic pillar of becoming the best connected brewer and digitizing our route to consumer.


As Product Tribe Manager you will be leading the product roadmap(s) for a suite of products within the growing E-business product portfolio of Heineken, ensuring effective design, build and delivery and value measurement of products within the portfolio, connected to the strategic themes. This involves leading and coordinating cross-functional teams focused on optimizing the Order Management System (OMS), to develop and implement strategies to improve order accuracy, reduce processing times and other relevant measures.


This role proactively incorporates external best practices to uplevel and inspire your product team’s approach to roadmap and value delivery, while ensuring successful team delivery of roadmaps & value delivery. You’ll define the outcomes (what) and key success criteria of their product epics and support definition of cross-tribe epics.

Additionally, as a leader of the product team, you will help lead as we build the foundation of order management best practices across the team, including value measurement, reporting, product visioning, identifying new product opportunities and experimentation.

This is a role, managing direct reports, fostering collaboration across other product leads, business functions/stakeholders, engineering, design, and customer experience - proactively identifying opportunities to optimize stakeholder management mechanisms and processes.

Your role & responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end lifecycle of a suite of legacy and new products that spans multiple stages of the value chain and/or multiple enablers, with varying complexity and spanning various stages of the product lifecycle (from ideation through optimization/deprecation)
  • Lead team(s) of direct reports, managing dependencies and collaboration across other tribe leads, business functions/stakeholders, engineering, Design, and CX Growth identifying opportunities to optimize stakeholder management mechanisms and processes
  • Manage team of Product Owners, ensuring product management best practice ways of working are followed, proactive identifying opportunities to optimize.
  • Oversee Product Backlog at the tribe level, identifying opportunities to for global scalability and reusability between OPCOs, and ensure prioritized value capture based on the defined outcomes
  • Ensure value delivery is aligned to portfolio approach and best practices, identifying opportunities to optimize and iterate. Supports team as well as broader product team on experimentation strategy, KPI definition and prioritization. Helps defines and incorporates best practices of broader product team KPIs and value measurement/delivery of scope.
  • Work with Product Team(s) to define product epics and plan the Sprints including deciding on Sprint content and priority; ensures backlog prioritization are aligned to strategic business requirements, budget considerations, optimal value delivery and non-functional requirements.
  • Design mechanisms to ensure long-term product or business success. Is a demonstrated leader within the organization and incorporates best practices across the broader team and also within the product team/tribes

What were looking for

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in business / IT
  • Around 10 years of working experience (eCommerce experience / product environment / or working with an order management system)
  • You have an holistic view on product work and you are keenly motivated to connect data to customer-facing problems and capabilities
  • Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing/influencing technical and business stakeholders
  • You have experience in, and knowledge of customer-focused technology and agile methodologies & Scrum
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in SAP ERP Sales and Logistics as user or consultancy experience. Deep understanding sales, logistics and order management processes
