Product Manager traffic safety systems

You will have the responsibility for the roadside systems that are deployed in over 50 countries in the world, and in that sense, you will contribute to a better world in a very direct manner. You will find yourself in a team of highly skilled and motivated colleagues with an international composition who are always in search of the latest technologies, opportunities, and innovations. Sensys Gatso is advocating for an Agile approach in all aspects, including self-organizing teams, always improving, and open feedback. Sensys Gatso has a product portfolio that is managed by three product managers: FLUX (roadside), PULS (analytics), and Xilium (processing). In this position, you will be responsible for the FLUX product to serve customers all over the world. This position will be a key one in serving our customers. You will be reporting directly to the managing director of Sensys Gatso Netherlands.

The Job Responsibilities

• Monitor market developments in traffic enforcement in all areas and identify the opportunities for Sensys Gatso.
• Collect input from all stakeholders, starting with customers including the general managers of the entities but also delivery managers, sales, supply, support and type approval institutes.
• Translate all input into a product strategy and roadmap in close cooperation with the group CCO and CTO.
• Translate the roadmap into quarterly objectives in close cooperation with two to four product owners that guide the teams in daily development.
• Align the roadmap and the quarterly objectives with the product managers from PULS and Xilium within the product management team.
• Actively involved in several bids teams, contributing in writing bids and providing high quality product documentation.
• Analyze and monitor direct and indirect competition for our solutions.
• Decide on whether to make or buy, and actively monitor end of life components and anticipate.
• Determine the commercial strategy and pricing for delivering systems, services and support in general.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Masters, or higher degree in a relevant field.
• At least 10 years of working experience in a professional environment, of which 5 years of experience in portfolio or product management of products that include a combination of hardware and software.
• The candidate must have prior experience working abroad or in an international environment, demonstrating the ability to navigate and thrive in diverse cultural settings.
• Fluent in English: The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Additional Languages: Proficiency in other languages is considered an asset and will be viewed positively.
• Clean criminal record.
