Your responsibilities:

Multi Netherlands is looking for a Technical Development Manager to join Dutch the technical team based in Amsterdam on the Zuidas. As a Technical Development Manager, you will be responsible for Multi’s residential, retail and office (re)development projects. There are currently three (re)development projects under Multi’s management, this number is expected to grow. In this role you function as the first point of contact for (potential) clients, local authorities, construction companies and external project staff.

Your tasks at Multi include:

· Planning: responsible for delivery on schedule of a development project, both during the preparatory and the construction phase.

· Budget control: preparing risk analysis on project basis, mitigating risks and guarding budgets both during the preparatory and the construction phase.

· Financial: optimising cost aspects of development projects, tender and negotiate contracts within the budget framework, controlling budgets and contract variations during construction, updating development reports.

· Quality & design: supporting the design process from the initial concept phase up to start of construction, review of technical specifications, manage that the quality and delivery conditions that have been agreed with relevant stakeholders are aligned and get delivered, get to start of construction of a development project in accordance with the approved design documentation, budgets, technical specifications and client contracts and the agreed quality level.

· Permits and zoning: manage the preparation and submission of the required permit applications, support zoning plan change processes.

· Pre-construction: negotiating and managing the (preparation of) relevant contracts, with a view to budget and planning control, seek optimisations.

What Multi offers:

· A full-time offer with a fixed-term contract of 12 months

· A competitive salary of €5.000,00 - €7.000,00 per month based on 40 hours a week.

Job requirements:

· [Master’s] degree in Built Environment, Engineering or architecture or equivalent. ·

· At least 6-8 years of relevant working experience in the property development (at least two out of the following three categories; residential, office and retail) and construction industry.

· Excellent understanding of technical, environmental and financial requirements related to property development and construction management.

· Good understanding of the financial aspects of property development and ability to communicate about the same.

· Aptitude with contracts, contracts management.

· Strong communication, negotiation and commercial skills.

· Living in the Netherlands.
