Group Product Manager - Flights - Post-Booking & Engagement

A trip usually starts with a flight. The Flights teams mission is to offer a wide selection of flights, great value for money and the easiest end-to-end booking experience. The customer journey is not limited to the moment of booking. After this, many things can happen: check-in time, flight delays, or changes in plans. Or, perhaps, a future trip to plan.


The Group Product Manager for the Post-Booking and Engagement Track will play a key role in creating a seamless flight experience beyond the book process, empowering our bookers to change their bookings online, positioning our app as a real travel companion that will help the travelers on the journey to and from their destination and creating a long-term relationship with customers, giving them reasons to return to our website.

The role will report directly to a Product Director and be on a team with other Group Product Managers. The individual will also work closely with internal and external partners.

Who you are:

  • Robust and proven track record in building new customer facing experiences for a large scale organization
  • Previous experience leading and growing a team of product managers
  • Able to articulate the impact of the product on the business through the establishment and monitoring of key metrics
  • Knowledgeable about leveraging customer research, quantitative data & experimentation to find the best product-market fit
  • Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams
  • Teammate, data-driven, fast learner, passionate about product and people

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

Your experience:

  • 8+ years experience building products. Domain experience in the Flights and/or Travel industry is a plus.
  • 2+ years experience managing and leading product managers
  • Excellent communication skills, can effectively communicate with partners in different roles and levels, clearly communicate strategic vision and big picture but also specific details. Great written and presentation abilities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, can lead multiple projects effectively themselves and through others. Experienced with agile methodologies.
  • Experienced in the different cycles of product management: build from scratch, scale and optimize.
  • Solution oriented and outcome driven.
  • Able to understand and formulate important business metrics.
