Calling All Innovators: Join Our Productivity - Processing Team as an R&D Intern and Revolutionize Food Process Upscaling!

Location: Wageningen, Netherlands

Start date: September 2024 (6 months)

About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate R&D intern to support the Productivity - Processing team. In the Processing team, you will be dealing with Food Process upscaling rules. This includes collecting process design information of Upfields processing units on lab-, pilot plant- and factory-scale, creating an overview of estimated shear rates for the different unit operations, and defining rules and guidelines to facilitate upscaling of Upfields processing equipment.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?

• Be completing a masters degree in Chemical Engineering or Food Processing at a Dutch university
• Have knowledge on Fluid Dynamics, Rheology and/or Process Design
• Ability to collect data from different sources and compile it in a structured way
• Ability to analyse data and find valuable insights
• Be curious!
