The data journey for ESE group has only just begun. One operating company is successful linked to our Smart Data Platform, the other four have to follow soon. The necessary ingests are going to be set up in a multi-company environment which will also contain a final layer for consolidated group reporting. To make this journey even more interesting we are making the switch to a new WMS (SAP EWM) and ERP system (in selection procedure) of which the data also need to be available for dashboarding and reporting via PowerBI.

A skilled maintaining data solutions using Azure cloud services, Databricks, DevOps practices, Data Platform, DAX, proficiency in building scalable and efficient data pipelines, optimizing data storage and processing, and extracting actionable insights from complex datasets. Proven track record of turning raw data into meaningful business insights and recommendations, contributing significantly to data-driven decision-making. Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective data solutions and meet business requirements.

Functie-eisen

Data Analysis:

• Proficient in using advanced statistical techniques and data manipulation tools to analyze large datasets.
• Experience in data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment for improved data quality.

Data Engineering:

• Expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and storage.
• Proficient in handling large-scale data processing and managing data warehouses.

Cloud Computing (Azure):

• In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud services, Service Principals, Key Vaults, Logic Apps, Azure DevOps, Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Databricks, SQL Database and Synapse Analytics.
• Ability to design and implement scalable and cost-effective data solutions in the cloud.
• Experience in designing and optimizing cloud-based data solutions.

Databricks:

• Hands-on experience with Databricks for building and optimizing Spark-based data processing workflows.
• Developing and optimizing Spark jobs (-clusters) for efficient data processing.
• Implementing and maintaining Databricks notebooks for data analysis and transformation.

DevOps:

• Proficient in using DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of data solutions, with a strong understanding of DevOps principles for automating the deployment and maintenance of data infrastructure.
• Implementing version control, automated testing, and deployment pipelines for data projects, while maintaining and organizing an Agile Way of Working using the board functionalities for a structured and project-based approach.

Data Platform:

• Designing and implementing Data Platform for efficient data integration and management.
• Implementing data governance and security measures to ensure data quality and compliance.

Power BI:

• Advanced skills in creating interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience in connecting Power BI to various data sources and optimizing data models for performance.

Programming Languages:

• Proficient in SQL, Python and DAX for data manipulation, analysis and scripting.
• Developing custom scripts and functions to enhance data processing capabilities.

Professional Experience:

• Implemented end-to-end data solutions on Azure, optimizing data processing and storage, and designed and implemented scalable data pipelines, improving data processing efficiency.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to define and meet business requirements for data analysis, while also working closely with data scientists and analysts to provide optimized datasets for analysis.

Preferable also knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Datasphere.
