Isprox will assist you to join our clients team in The Netherlands as a part of a multinational Engineering, information & technology consulting company with offices in 50 countries. You will be in contact with market leading vendors and thought leaders in their respective domains. You will be working with many colleagues from different disciplines, geographies and backgrounds.

Role Description:

As a Software Engineer specializing in RiskShield, your primary responsibility is to develop the screening and monitoring solutions essential for detecting financial crimes and ensuring compliance within the organization. You will be instrumental in crafting the rules, inner workings, and interfaces of the central monitoring platform RiskShield, along with the case management module. Your role will involve leveraging data analysis to define thresholds and implement changes in rulesets to enhance the efficacy of the system.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and test the rules, inner workings, and interfaces of the central monitoring platform RiskShield.
• Design and implement the case management module to streamline the handling of detected cases.
• Utilize data analysis techniques, particularly with Python or similar programming languages, to define thresholds and refine rulesets for improved detection capabilities.
• Analyze KYC (Know Your Customer) data and cybercrime patterns to inform the development of effective monitoring solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT and development of business-critical applications, with a focus on communication with end users.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong background in IT security and software development within the context of Risk Shield.
• Experience in data analysis using Python or a similar programming language.
  Familiarity with Linux services and commands, along with a good understanding of databases.
• Affinity with banking processes and AML/fraud monitoring processes.
  Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
