The work

Hi master student! Looking for a challenging thesis internship where you directly get to know the dynamic consultancy world? Then we have the ultimate opportunity for you! The Customer Tech team within Accenture Song is looking for a thesis intern who wants to contribute to our knowledge development in the field of Digital Customer Experience, Digital Product Creation & Digital Product Delivery. Due to your great interest in the Digital Experience topics and products we are working on, you will be fully incorporated in our team full of bright minds like you.

During this thesis internship, you will have the opportunity to access a broad array of valuable resources and collaborate with all the creative people across Accenture Song. They are happy to take you by the hand to experience the way-of-working within Accenture Song in addition to writing a thesis. This ensures that you also can learn more about how we create value for our customers by using a people-oriented focus. In doing so, you will get your first hands-on consultancy experience while writing a masters thesis.

• Team The Customer Tech team is part of Accenture’s creative engine called Accenture Song. Our Amsterdam office is home to more than 220 cheerful, smart, and passionate people. As the Customer Tech team we design, create, and launch digital products & experiences that help our customers solve problems and seize opportunities. We are a multi-functional collaborative team that drives value for our clients by discovering, understanding, and validating new potential Digital Products & Services. By doing this, we help our clients improve their customers user experience, designing their products, and bringing their ideas to life for millions of users.
• Daily tasks As an intern within the Customer Tech Team, the main focus of your internship is: writing your thesis on a topic within the domain of Digital Experience. Besides writing your thesis, you will be introduced to Accenture Song and the world of consultancy.
• Research We would like you to focus your research on a topic connected to the following domains (1) The effect of AI or other emerging technologies (E.g. GenAI, AR, VR, IoT, Web3) on digital experiences within the domains of digital products and its delivery. (2) The future of developing Digital Experiences or (3) The changing dynamics of user behaviour in Digital Environments.
• Interested? If you are interested, please provide us with a motivational letter where you propose a research topic. You can upload your motivation letter together with your resume in our Workday system.

Song Talent Factory (STF)
As part of your internship, you will also take part in Song Talent Factory. This program will be leading you through your path at Accenture Song and will provide additional engagements, activities and projects to enhance your intern experience. Being part of the Song Talent Factory, you will:

• Get professional guidance on finding the next step in your career;
• Get expert support on your thesis topic while leveraging all Accenture resources;
• Be part of one Song program where you are required to collaborate with other interns at Accenture Song from our different offerings (Commerce, Design & Digital Product Creation, Marketing and Consumer Services);
• Work on a large internship long consulting project together with your STF group. This will allow you to not just get a glimpse of one of the four capabilities, but you will really get to see everything Accenture Song has to offer;
• Be part of the Accenture Song community through companywide and intern specific engagement events
• Enjoy the wide variety of training opportunities;

• Be enrolled at a Masters program in a Dutch university, preferably in a Business Information Management, AI, HCI, Data & Information Science Program.
• You are fluent in English and Dutch; both spoken and written.
• A hands-on mentality
