PRIMARY OBJECTIVES OF POSITION
Arrange and manage all transport movements to make sure that all shipments will arrive at the customer at the right time. Issue all traffic, export and import related documents to make sure all shipments will arrive at the customer at the right time.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
  • Issue customs documents for import and export shipments.
  • Handle all special requests for legalization of documentation.
  • Issue claims for transportation damage for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Function as the key contact person between Abbott and forwarders.
  • Contact forwarders regarding pickup up shipment and related information.
  • File and archive the shipping documents.
  • Be the contact person for matters between customs, chamber of commerce and forwarder.
  • Be the contact person for CS on traffic, chamber of commerce and legalization issues.
  • Handle incoming complaints regarding Abbott’s transport service.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Bachelor’s degree/certificate (HBO) or MBO with experience similar role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SAP and/or ERPs
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
  • Familiar with the transport business in medical industry
  • Getting a kick out of being very precise and out of performing in a hectic situation
  • Good communication skills. Capable of handling communication with carriers and drivers as well as with internal stakeholders (customs, chamber of commerce, banks)
  • Good knowledge of the English language in speaking, reading, and writing.
  • Problem solving skills
