As our new International Student Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting and engaging prospective students. Your responsibilities will include managing the entire recruitment process, from initial outreach to guiding students through the admission and enrollment stages. You will be an essential asset in promoting our programs, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for international applicants, and helping them transition into their journey with us.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day recruitment of Students: answering phone calls and emails, coordination of activities across the educational programmes, maintaining relationships and sharing information with prospective and existing customers (students), the programmes and our agents abroad;
• Supporting students and programmes in the admissions procedure, answering student journey related questions and following up on leads;
• Organisation and support of student recruitment initiatives and activities;
• Developing and maintaining national and international relations including the student ambassador network and agents abroad;
• Contributing to the annual recruitment plan through regular reporting using available data and tools like PowerBi;
• Promotion of the international programmes via various channels including the development of promotional materials, social media content creation, newsletters etc;
• Administrative tasks

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal relational skills, presentation, oral, and written communication skills;
• Proficient and professional in English and Dutch other languages are a plus;
• MBO+ or HBO Bachelor level, preferably with an international student (exchange) experience;
• Recent experience in customer service, client relations, sales or a recent graduate from an international business program with applicable work experience;
• Flexible team player and able to work independently and willing to work irregular hours occasionally;
• Likes to work data-driven and can do data-analysis and reporting (or is willing to learn);
• Affinity for or interest in a technical domain;
• Willing and able to travel within the Netherlands (Randstad mainly) and occasionally abroad.

Wat bieden wij

• This contract is initially for 12 months, with the potential for longer.
• A salary of at least €3.091,78 with a maximum of €4.085,57 gross per month, scale 8, for full-time employment. Your renumeration depends on your workload, acquired skills, and education.
• A working week of 24 hours.
• A workplace in Amsterdam in de new building in the Sluisbuurt (Zeeburgereiland). All travel expenses incurred by public transport will be reimbursed 100%. You shall receive a business card for public transport. If you opt for your own transport, know that you will be reimbursed to a limited extent.
• A payment of an 8% holiday allowance in May.
• A payment of an year-end payment of 8.3% in December.
• A generous leave scheme in which you can make your own choices. For example: with a full-time employment contract and a chosen working week variant of 40 hours per week, you will have 428 hours of annual leave. This is 53.5 vacation days. Our leave scheme includes the mandatory days off and national and recognized public holidays.
• A homework allowance of €3,35 per day worked from home of at least 4 hours.
• An attractive pension scheme with ABP (General Pension Fund for Public Employees).

• An insurance policy against partial incapacity for work will be taken out for you, which will be paid in full by us, Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
