Global Financial Vendor Manager

As Global Financial Vendor Manager you will be responsible for managing multiple IT vendor relationships and contracts. You are the sparring partner of our IT stakeholders regarding contract and financial management of our external vendors.

Job Responsibility:

• Managing the contract process (initiation, negotiation, execution, and amendments) for (monetary) agreements i.e., material transfer agreements, task orders/statement of works and change orders and being involved in the (master) services agreements, licenses agreements and/or sponsored research agreements lead by senior team members
• Supporting team members in vendor governance including performance management e.g., contract issue escalation and resolution as well as risk mitigation and process optimization, identify improvement and trending activities for better collaboration with service providers
• Monitoring compliance with contract terms and conditions
• Managing fee reductions and incentives based on performance and contract terms
• Ensure RFF alignment with financial contractual agreements and forecasts
• Creating POs for contractual agreements and additional SOWs/CCNs/connections
• Validating SOWs/CCNs/connections against financial agreements, rate cards, price books
• Validating pro-forma invoices and PO/budget performance
• Primary contact for all PO and invoicing issues
• Identifying and determining various discounts

Job Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership, coordination and negotiation skills in a multi-stakeholder and multi-cultural environment
• Vendor management experience
• Experience with working in a matrixed business environment, managing multiple commitments and stakeholders while prioritizing conflicting demands, maintaining focus on the objective, and providing high quality service to both internal and external stakeholders
• You are a skilled communicator with the ability to consolidate and convey information with a clear voice
• Hands-on mentality, solution-driven and a team player but also able to work independently
• Excellent English communication skills (speaking & writing)
