About Our Client

The client is an IT company located in Amsterdam Biljmer Arena. They handle the digital infrastructures and manage hosting and cloud services.They are looking for an interim accounting manager because we are finding a replacement for the current manager. We are looking for someone who is ready to start immediately from the 1st of March.

Job Description

As an interim accounting manager you will be responsible for

• Team Management:
  • Lead and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment within the team.
  • Conduct evaluations and implement strategies for team improvement.

• General Ledger Management:
  • Oversee the general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to reconcile accounts, review journal entries, and address any discrepancies.

• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
  • Supervise the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Work closely with team members to resolve any issues related to payables and receivables.

The Successful Applicant

• Someone who is available at the 1st of March
• Someone who is experienced in managing a team
• Someone who speaks both English and Dutch
• Someone who has a system knowledge of AFAS

• It is a full time position for 40 hours a week
• The duration of the assignment is for 3 months with possibility of extension
• The number of days expected in the office is flexible, since their system is hybrid but they do prefer people who can work more often to their office in Amsterdam
