Internship - Packaging Efficiency

Your responsibility will be…

Currently we experience efficiency losses in our packaging process due to the interaction between products (candy) and the packaging. We would like you to qualify and quantify the product and packaging characteristics (eg. candy dimensions, candy surface treatment, bag dimensions, piece weight, piece count in bag…) and how they influence the efficiency of our packaging process.

In other words, you will work in a professional and all-round team, where the work is diverse, and you certainly won’t get bored!

What will you be contributing to?

During this assignment you will be based in our Roosendaal factory, report into Central Engineering & Technology and will also work closely with production, quality and innovation departments.

The internship starts as soon as possible and will be for 32-36 hours per week for a minimum duration of six months. This internship allows you to work on a possible (graduation) assignment for your education.

For this internship, we are looking for someone who meets the following profile:

• Bachelor or Master student in Engineering, Science or related field
• Fact-based team player
• Affinity with confectionary

• A strong proficiency in the English language; speaking Dutch is not a requirement
