Your contribution to TenneT You will be working on
CMT-EM-SP Concepts:
- To bridge the gap between the physics of electricity transmission and the commercial market perspective, concepts and methods need to be developed and subsequently implemented to best reflect the physical aspects in consistent market approaches;
- Design of Market Concepts for European Offshore Development, especially of Offshore Bidding Zones, including arrangements with non-EU countries;
- Project Management Lead for interconnector concepts as well as designing and implementing respective Market arrangements;
- Steering the European and regional Bidding Zone process like Bidding zone studies and reviews as well as perform as reliable partner in the relevant working groups;
- Implementation of (cross-border) Capacity Mechanisms like Capacity Markets.
Your profile and background - Educational and Professional Background: University degree, with over 10 years of experience in the European electricity sector;
- Leadership Experience: Extensive experience leading a team of academic professionals, demonstrating strategic agility and a results-oriented approach;
- Leadership Competencies: Strong competencies in leadership principles, including Connection, Ownership, and Courage; capable of empowering and inspiring teams, and fostering a culture of reflection and continuous learning;
- Personal Attributes: High level of assertiveness, initiative, creativity, and independence; trustworthy, reliable, and an excellent communicator;
- Stakeholder Management and Communication: Proficient in aligning TenneT’s interests with those of external stakeholders; fluent in English and Dutch.
