Are you a highly technical candidate who doesn’t mind taking apart machines to find the problem? Do you have proven experience in talking clients through technical issues in German? Then this might be the opportunity for you! A leader in the manufacture of audiovisual technology, this client is looking for a German speaking, motivated candidate to join their team as a technical expert in AV technology. As the technical support engineer, youd be responsible for responding to technical questions about AV equipment and carry-out product testing. You would be a ready knowledge centre for resellers, and end-users for customers in Germany and the UK. Would this be a challenge for you?

Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical support and product specifications over the phone

  • Testing the products in the office for technical issues

  • Create and maintain a good relationship with resellers and end users

  • Maintain working knowledge of 500+ products, features and applications

  • Participate in sales activities through upselling and reselling

Requirements:

  • Experience providing AV technical support

  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English

  • Educational background in electronics

  • Customer focused mindset

  • Independent worker with an adaptable mindset
