Introduction

We are looking for an experience Project Lead Logistics who will lead improvement projects in a dynamic environment. As Project Lead Logistics you will lead improvement projects within the Logistics Operations and you will also contribute to cross-sector projects. You will continuously improve, secure and standardize operational logistics processes, including integration with SAP and other IT tooling.

Role and responsibilities

• Design of logistics processes and systems

• Implementation of logistics solutions, including supplier selection and training of employees

• Optimalisation of logistics processes by analyzing processes and initiate improvements

• Driving the structural improvement program within Operational Logistics in general
  

Education and experience

• Bachelor or Master in business engineering, industrial engineering, operational management or logistics.

• 4 - 7 years’ experience in operational logistics & engineering, preferably in a high-tech, low-volume assembly environment

• Project, Program and Portfolio management knowledge and experience

• Project management certification

• Track record of leading process improvement projects

• Hands-on experience with continuous improvements based on lean principles and effective change management

• Experience with SAP-EWM, their set-up and application is a pre

• Experience with simulation or process mining is a pre

• Experience with automated storage and retrieval systems is a pre

• Coordinate groups of employees from different levels of education

• Leadership skills, drive for results, act under high pressure

• Result oriented, convincing, pro-active and “can do” mentality

• Excellent professional communication in English. Dutch is a pre

• Excellent stakeholder management skills at multiple organizational levels

• Team player and change agent, able to take both supporting and leading roles

• Strong analytic skills, presenting data as compelling information
