Retail Operations Consultant

Position Description: Are you ready for an exciting journey? CGI Retail (NL) is on the cusp of a new growth phase, and were looking for operations/business consultants to join our team and be a part of this exciting journey.

Your role in our team

As a member of our team, your typical day will be packed with a diverse range of activities, including:

• Implementations of retail POS implementations, covering business guidance, configuration, training and testing.
• Project management with diverse stakeholder groups (Retail, Ops, Tech, finance), using Confluence/Jira/Dev Ops (depending on client), to facilitate smooth communication and knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Leading change requests and deliver detailed technical specifications, ensuring the timely delivery of new features and improvements
• Partnering with POS vendors to sustain transparency and roadmap clarity.
• Guiding and supporting our functional managers in the implementation of POS, Omni services & Ecomm to optimize operations and drive business growth
• Collaborating closely with the business consulting and IT store operations team, sharing best practices and driving innovation
• Configuring and testing system adjustments independently, ensuring that all systems are operating at all times
• Creating clear and concise knowledge transfer documents and training guides for clients

What youll need:

• You hold an min. of MBO/HBO degree in IT or a related field
• You have at least 1-5 years of experience in retail, and preferably retail operations/system role.
• Proactive, High command of communication (verbal and written)
• You have a quick grasp combined with a structured, analytical and goal-oriented way of working
• Have knowledge of agile software development methods (Scrum, Kanban) in a DevOps setting is a plus
• Experience in the Retail sector is a plus;
• Located in the Netherlands or EU and willing to relocate;
• Youre fluent in English (Dutch is a plus)
