About the role

As a Senior Electromagnetic Systems Lead, you will be part of our Transmission & Distribution Technology (TDT) team at our Energy headquarters in Arnhem, The Netherlands. In this specialized role, you’ll advise, design and drive innovation across a spectrum of critical areas: high-voltage direct current (HVDC), high-voltage alternating current (HVAC), flexible AC transmission systems (FACTS), substations, overhead lines, and intricate industrial infrastructure.

About you

Education: Hold an MSc or PhD degree in electrical engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid grasp of earthing, grounding, EMC, and EMI principles.

Expertise: Showcase your mastery of electrical systems within the energy industry, emphasizing lightning protection, earthing/grounding practices, and EMC/EMI solutions.

Project Leadership: Leverage your strong project management skills, gained through client consultation and advisory roles.

Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with Dutch proficiency as an advantageous asset.

Software Proficiency: Navigate engineering tools like CDEGS (or similar) with ease..

Experience: While expertise in all topics isn’t mandatory, substantial proven experience in at least three of the following areas is essential: EMC/EMI/EMF/Earthing and grounding/Lightning protection.
