The role
The Data Management Scientist ensures that the development of an operations data management system is executed according to the required quality, GMP regulation compliance, within the agreed timelines and budget within the operations organization.

The Manufacturing Scientist will lead the cross-functional data management project team(s) within the operations organization and aligns the different departments to establish a mutual system and processes.

• The Data Management Scientist is the project lead for the development of a central data management system with the operations organization.
• The Data Management Scientist works with the team and initiates the project and defines the appropriate project goals and metrics.
• Act as a subject matter expert for data management processes of one or more processes within the data management project.
• To ensure that the processes are executed according to the required quality, GMP regulations, SOP procedures, within the agreed timelines and budget within the operations organization.
• Communicate with the different data management workgroups and other stakeholders within the operations organization to ensure timely, reliable results.

Knowledge:

• PhD or equivalent in (Chemical) Engineering, Pharmacy, Life Science & Technology.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical development, documentation requirements, systems knowledge.
• Knowledgeable of Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and regulatory guidelines (EMA, FDA, ICH).
• Thorough understanding of data analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of computerized system validations is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimal 10 years of relevant working experience
