As our Procurement Category Specialist, you will play an instrumental role in the newly structured Procurement organisation at ASICS EMEA. How you’ll help us. Based out of our EMEA Headquarters, just outside of Amsterdam, Netherlands and reporting to the Head of Procurement, as part of the role, you’ll:
  • Build a strong understanding of the category and its key partners.
  • Execute end-to-end sourcing activities.
  • Develop and maintain analytic procurement programmes such as the Category Spend Report, preparing periodic and on-demand reports.
  • Build a strong partnership with our internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain contract repository and ensure a proactive approach to contract renewals.
  • Act as a matter expert for the operations on any initiative that requires procurement input, supporting the decision-making process.
  • Develop a solid relationship with business control to review savings capture as well as support the budgeting phase.
More about you.
  • Relevant procurement experience in international matrix organisations.
  • Strong understanding of the supply chain and IT environment.
  • Strong verbal and written English skills. French or German will be an advantage.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
