About the role We’re looking for a budding designer with strong UI and UX skills. If you are curious, ambitious and interested in building exciting interfaces with creative teammates, then this is the role for you. You will become part of the o9 Design Lab, our in-house creative team. As a UI Designer, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including the DesignLab, front- and back-end developers, and product marketers. With this team, you will create designs and support the production of websites, apps, product experiences and much more. Your mission is to take care of our user interface design across channels, from conceptualisation to execution. What you’ll do

• Work closely with the Head of Creative, and the o9 Design Lab team to define, evolve and

maintain our design system to ensure visual cohesion across all user touchpoints.

• Design web pages and applications in Figma. Understand the common UI design patterns.
• Push and uphold a high standard of visual experience for the brand.
• Identify user interface requirements; and translate them into user journeys, sitemaps, wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Work iteratively to solve specific user problems.
• Help define project approach and user experience right from conception to delivery.
• Translate complex briefs into clear, creative outputs.

What you’ll bring along

• Experience: 1+ year experience in UX/UI Design. Your designs are powerful and consistent.

You are curious to learn and improve all your skills.

• Education: A completed Bachelor- or Masters degree in design studies, Interaction design, or relevant field.

Skills:

• Good understanding of the web environment (HTML, CSS, Javascript).
• UI prototyping skills and the ability to illustrate ideas rapidly.
• Highly skilled with Figma.
• Literate in Adobe CC
• Knowledge of WordPress and Webflow is a big plus
• You are up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, methods, and technologies.
• Strong portfolio of UI design projects that show you rock. You love to create pixel-perfect

designs with an outstanding eye for aesthetics and detail.

• Ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and handle input and feedback
• You know responsive design and can create consistent user interfaces for different devices.
• Fluency in English.
