Team Lead Quality Assurance
(based in the Netherlands)Main objectives
You are responsible for the performance of the organisation’s quality assurance, expert advice and support regarding quality assurance and the procurement of pharmaceuticals or medical devices or specialised food products by leading, providing directions and coordinating the activities of the OCA Quality Assurance Referents Team. The position holder will work in Quality Assurance & GDP-Compliance Unit (Logistics department).
Job responsibilities Team Lead Quality Assurance:
You coordinate the implementation of the annual activity-plans, set and decide on priorities within the team and monitor on a daily basis the workload and (re)distribution of tasks based on the given situation.
You advise and guide team members in terms of technical issues and customer related tasks.
You analyse current/past performance and use your insights to improve/standardise processes in the quality assurance process.
You support your team members by analysing and resolving specific, complex issues.
You ensure the various team activities meet the agreed performance indicators and quality levels, and you take action when needed.
You provide management information and report on actual progress against the defined objectives.
You ensure an active collaboration and agreements on medical supply quality related approaches with GDP-RP and QA teams. You coordinate timely updates on relevant GDP-related SOPs (QA parts).
You represent QA Team internally in OCA and on international arena.
Job responsibilities QA Referent:
You validate sources of supply in compliance with international standards and the MSF Qualification Scheme.
You maintain the various databases, ensuring product and supplier information, technical documentation and validation status is accurate.
You monitor and evaluate the quality of pharmaceutical products / medical devices to be delivered to the country programs ensuring adequate documentation and adherence to the relevant procedures and policies.
You provide expert advice and technical support to facilitate the procurement and supply chain processes and you keep yourself educated with legislation in the various areas of your expertise.
You work in OCA in close collaboration with the MSF IO Pharmacists Coordinator/ QA Coordinator Medical Devices.
Candidate profile
MSc / University degree in a relevant domain; pharmacy, health, pharmaceutical supply chain management; registered pharmacist
4-5 years of working experience in a pharmaceutical domain industry; with international pharmaceutical distribution in a comparative setting (in terms of size and complexity of operations and product groups)
Quality Assurance and technical knowledge of pharmaceuticals/ medical devices regarding usage and quality validation.
Knowledge of MSF OCA procurement, logistics and operational processes is a must
You have strong interpersonal skills and are proficient in English (speech and writing).
