Warehouse Operations Manager

Were seeking to hire an experienced and dedicated "Warehouse Operations Manager". The ideal candidate shall be responsible for managing and leading a team along with establishing and overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and exceptional customer service from the ground up.

The position is based in Tripoli, Lebanon.

Warehouse Operations Manager Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Hire, lead, manage, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
• Design and implement robust warehouse processes, workflows, and systems to ensure operational excellence.
• Utilize advanced technical skills to manage warehouse systems, including inventory management software and automated processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all warehouse operations from the ground up to ensure efficient and effective logistics management.
• Develop and execute effective training programs to develop and upskill the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline warehouse processes and enhance productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
• Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to meet company objectives and drive operational excellence.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve targets.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing reliable and efficient logistics solutions.
• Identify potential challenges and proactively develop solutions to mitigate risks.

Warehouse Operations Manager Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the logistics and supply chain industry, preferably with exposure to the Third-Party Logistics sector.
• Bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully establishing and managing warehouse operations from the ground up, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and team leadership.
• Experience working outside of Lebanon is highly desirable, as it will bring a diverse perspective and understanding of international best practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong technical expertise in warehouse management systems, automation, and data analytics.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to execute plans effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English languages.
• Possession of a valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle is a must.
