Your new challenge

The role of Senior Accountant / Accounts Payable involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support to the organization. Your role is to complete payments and control expenses by receiving payments, plus processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Day-to-day activities also include the management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.

Your new challenge will include:

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
• Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing paychecks
• Paying vendors by scheduling paychecks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit
• Responding to vendor inquiries regarding finance
• Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
• Maintaining historical records and continuing to improve the payment process

What we would like from you

A degree in Finance, Economics, Business Studies, or Accounting, coupled with strong attention to detail and proficient data entry skills. Moreover, you should ideally have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar role, with industry-specific experience considered advantageous. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and an excellent command of the software is expected.

Requirements.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, strong English writing skills for documentation and reports, proficient in English speaking for effective communication with teams and stakeholders
• Understanding the basic accounting systems
• Experience with Project Accounting
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• EU residence permit is mandatory

Process

Firstly, we would like to invite you to have an initial chat with one of our in-house recruiters to ensure that you meet the main key criteria for the role. If this all goes to plan, then you will be invited to meet with one of our lead engineers to have a 2nd stage technical interview. This interview will include meeting someone from our dedicated People/HR teams to delve deeper into your aspirations and further bring the culture of CC7 Europe to life.

We aim to make an offer to the successful person soon after the final interviews, subject to the necessary work visas if required and satisfactory reference checking.
