You are partly responsible for the financial conscience of Mocean. Together with the General Manager you will work on the financial health of our organization. What will you be doing:

· The financial monthly closing is in good hands with you;· You have grip and control over the balance sheet by drawing up balance sheet specifications. The profit and loss account no longer holds any secrets due to your audit work.· Your insight into the profit and loss account is extremely useful for providing insight into the actual costs for the forecasting process for the various departments. You have an advisory role towards the general manager;· You investigate why results differ and you determine whether action needs to be taken;· You are responsible for sending out timesheets;· You are responsible for invoicing proces;· You are responsible for taking care of the VAT return;· You are responsible for creditor and debitor management;· You are responsible for entering purchase invoices· You are responsible for project control in close cooperation with Project Manager;· You are responsible for accountablity of various subsidies/grants.Who are we looking for:· You have a number of years of work experience in a similar position and this is your second or third career step;· You are analytically strong and results-oriented;· You pay attention to details and see the bigger picture;· You are always looking for possible improvements and automation for more efficiency and effectiveness;· Experience with Exact (online)is essential. Improving financial processes and becoming a real expert in this area is the starting point;· In this position you work a lot with colleagues and you also enjoy getting to the bottom of things independently.

· You are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and verbal communication.

· Preferably 4 days parttime (16-28 u) a week,· Salary range for this position is €3,250 - €5,200 based on fulltime;· 26 vacation days based on a 40-hour working week, travel expenses and pension scheme. But more importantly:· Space to think and act independently and responsibly;· A nice office nearby Rotterdam CS;· Social activities such as drinks, inspiration sessions and fun (sports/culinary) activities.
