In the business Unit Health & Nutrition we invest to grow our business in sustainable nutrition and healthcare ingredients:

• We are the largest supplier of Omega 3 Ingredients for Human and Animal nutrition based on Algae fermentation.
• We develop innovative natural & active nutrients for animal and human nutrition,
• We develop highly specialize resorbable polymers for the medical and pharmaceutical industry.
• We supply pharmaceutical grade lactic acid and derivatives for usage in renal care.

This is a fast and high growth business unit with an exciting innovation & product development pipeline.

As our Global Business Director Animal Nutrition you are responsible for setting up and executing a global growth strategy for Corbions animal nutrition business. You are responsible for achieving strategic objectives and managing the ongoing commercial P&L. You hierarchically manage the product management, business development, technical sales, application and nutrionist teams.

You are a member of the Nutrition Business Team and you report to Vice President Nutrition & Pharma.

Responsibilities

• Set up and execute a the global growth strategy for Corbions Animal Nutrition business
• Manage the ongoing commercial P&L and achieve budget and strategic objectives.
• Build a Animal nutrition product portfolio by combining existing products and technology platforms with new opportunities that fit with Corbions overall strategy and market developments.
• Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities to materialize on the business objectives and drive the sales teams.
• Set up and execute pricing strategies for the relevant markets/products.
• Manage the S&OP and ensure all relevant elements of product management are in place.
• In collaboration with marketing define positioning and promotions in relevant product market combinations.
• Translate customer needs to products and solutions in close cooperation with R&D.
• Manage new product launches
• Build strong relations with key business partners, key customers and distributors to support strategy definition and execution.

About you

We are looking for a result oriented business leader who thrives in a fast paced environment with high growth. In addition, you meet the following criteria:

• At least 15 years of experience in International B2B ingredient commercial management with a sustainability value proposition and customer centricity.
• Strong experience and affinity with (animal) nutrition
• A business degree and/or a degree in Food/Feed Science or equivalent knowledge by experience.
• Impact, initiative, leadership
• Long term relationship & organization builder
• Strategic vision and ability to execute
• Commercial drive
