Project Manager - PBIO General Purpose: The Project Manager leads and motivates cross functional teams and is responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring and overseeing projects to ensure that the defined project objectives are achieved. He/she is also involved in the business case development and benefits management.

Position Highlights:

• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Assist in developing the business case, project scope and objectives.
• Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are identified and properly managed.
• Develop the project plan, including project team and project schedule.
• Manage and communicate the project’s objectives to the team and motivate them to achieve these.
• Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including internal and external clients and vendors.
• Compile project cost estimate and manage all ?nancial aspects including managing budget and adherence to procurement and contract policies.
• Analyze risks, establish contingency plans and identify trigger events and responsible for initiating mitigating action.
• Track and report on progress to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Resolve issues related to scope, schedule, budget, stakeholders, project team, project quality, and project risk.
• Oversee project documentation.
• Analyze lessons learned and share with other project managers.
• Measure achieved benefits upon completion of projects.

Requirements:

• HBO/ Bachelor’s degree in Business Information or similar.
• Project management education and training, CAPM, PMP, or PRINCE II certification is a plus.
• 5 - 7 years’ experience in working with projects, with an affinity for IT related projects.
• Banking experience preferred.
• Knowledge of and competency in project management processes and methodology.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Proficiency in Papiamento, Dutch, and Spanish is a plus.
• Result driven.
• Time management skills and able to prioritize effectively.
• Adaptability and ?exibility including ability to manage deadline pressure and change.
• Ability to guide, motivate, and direct a team without hierarchical authority.
• Ability to manage relationships and conflict by building trust, satisfying concerns, seeking consensus, balancing competing goals, managing expectations, and continuously developing and nurturing professional networks.
• Conceptual analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
