That’s why we say, “When our customers prosper, we all win.” Job Description: Project Engineering Intern for System Integration and Testing Objective: The intern will support the project engineers in the Utrecht office in the testing, configuration, installation, and commissioning of system components for various projects. They will also assist in generating labeling plans and supporting the logistics department in packing list generation and shipment control. The intern will be responsible for supporting the implementation and documentation of a new system in our Utrecht office. This project involves various tasks related to safety management, logistics, compliance, system design, Factory Testing, training, and documentation. The intern will work closely with the project team to ensure a successful implementation and smooth handover to support. What you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the development of safety management plans, logistic support plans, compliance requirements matrices, system architecture designs, system design documents, and interface control documents.
• Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Preparing site requirements and installation plans, including necessary infrastructural works at the airport.
• Supporting on ensuring a smooth transition to operational status.
• Managing the purchase equipment list and following up on hardware purchases.
• Assisting in unpacking hardware, assembling cabinets, and packing and shipping materials as needed.
• Contributing to the creation of system test plans, factory acceptance test procedures, SAT procedures, pre-FAT, FAT, pre-SAT, and SAT activities.
• Assisting in the development of technical manuals, administrator manuals, user manuals, training program plans, and related training presentations.
• Ensuring the proper documentation of safety measures and maintenance procedures.
• Participating in the creation of as-built documents that accurately reflect the implemented system.
• Supporting the project handover process to the support team.

What you will bring to the role:

• Basic knowledge of electrical and communication systems
• Familiarity with configuration management tools and documentation practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
