The internship

As the explosive demand for computing power through the rise of AI continues to reshape industries and drive innovation, the need for sustainable practices in the cloud computing sector has never been more critical.

Are you passionate about technology and sustainability? Do you want to contribute to cutting-edge research while gaining hands-on experience in the tech industry? Our Cloud Advisory Group is seeking an enthusiastic and driven intern to join our team and embark on an exciting project centered around cloud sustainability.

About the Internship Project:

• Conduct your university thesis that is technology and sustainability related.

• Conduct a comprehensive comparison study of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives and performance across leading hyperscalers: Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. Bonus points if you include other views such as private cloud. Your study will help our consultants guide our clients on their pivotal choice towards their cloud transformation.

• Analyze and compare the cloud sustainability toolsets offered by these hyperscalers to understand their effectiveness and impact on promoting sustainable practices.

• During your thesis internship, you will become a true member of our team, having the chance to tap into the experience of our experts in many fields, and join us on our engagement events.

Heres what youll need

• You are currently enrolled as a bachelor (HBO/WO) or master student in a Dutch educational institution in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Environmental Science, Business, etc.).

• You are tech-savvy: Highly interested in cloud computing and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

• You are passionate for sustainability: A genuine interest in sustainability and a desire to contribute to meaningful environmental initiatives.

• Self-motivated: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.

• You are naturally curious, eager to learn and willing to learn new tools, techniques, and technologies.

• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written) and comfortable with English (spoken and written).
