We’re looking for a Senior AI/ML Solutions Architect with exceptional technical and communication skills to build Generative AI solutions for our customers. You will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for our customers, leveraging AI technologies and becoming our customers’ trusted technical advisor. Your invaluable contributions will shape our AI offering and influence company’s key performance metrics.

You’re welcome to work in our office in Amsterdam, hybrid or remotely.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Build various Generative AI solutions based on Large Language models (e.g. RAG and fine-tuning): envision the architecture for the solution, create prototype, build the production application and support it after deployment.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to our customers, navigating the landscape of modern AI technologies, explaining advantages and disadvantages of various tools and platforms, conducting PoCs, workshops, presentations and training sessions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solution architecture that align with their needs. Design, build and document LLM-based solutions, collaborating with support engineers and technical writers post production.
  • In the future, lead a team of similar professionals.

We expect you to have:

  • 5+ years of experience in an ML or AI-related role, including 2+ years in a customer-facing role as an AI/ML solution architect.
  • Substantial industrial experience building AI solutions, including those based on large language models and generative AI (end to end technical architecture, design, deployment and operations)
  • Good knowledge of the applicability of various Machine Learning methods, especially Generative AI methods.
  • Proficiency in prompt engineering, embeddings, fine tuning and retrieval evaluation.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the AWS, Azure or GCP AI stacks.
  • Familiarity with modern AI technologies, such as recent LLM models, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Kubernetes, vector databases, PyTorch, GPU software stack components and others.
  • Familiarity with design, deployment and evaluation of LLM-powered agents and tools and orchestration approaches
  • Familiarity with contemporary software engineering approaches, including CI/CD, version control and unit testing.
  • Great communication skills focusing on the most valuable topics during customer conversations and driving the projects forward to the results.
  • Working knowledge of spoken and written English.

It will be an added bonus if you have:

  • Previous experience team leading in similar roles.
  • Strong engineering skills, including experience in developing complex production systems and HPC/ML orchestration frameworks (e.g. Slurm, Kubeflow).
  • Ability to shape our positioning and offering using relevant previous experience.
