Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and passionate Commis Chef to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn, develop your skills in a fine-dining environment, and contribute to a dynamic, vegetable-centric kitchen.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head chef with food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Support kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Help with stock rotation, ingredient prep, and mise en place to ensure smooth service.
• Follow recipes and learn new techniques in Indian-fusion cuisine.
• Work as part of a team to ensure efficiency during busy service hours.

Requirements:

• Some experience in a professional kitchen (fine-dining or Indian cuisine is a plus, but not required).
• Passion for vegetable-centric and Indian-fusion cuisine, with a strong desire to learn.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and take direction from head chef.
• A team player with excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in English, as it is the primary language spoken in our restaurant.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to develop as a chef.
• EU Work-permit required. No candidates will be accepted without EU Work-permit.
