Introduction to the job

For the project to extend the product-life-cycle of the PAS 5500 systems (PAS-LTE), we are looking for an Electronic Integrator in our MPS D&E team.

In the PAS-LTE project we will redesign the electronic racks of the PAS 5500 systems. You can help to make the redesign work and introduce it to the field and manufacturing. This requires knowledge, experience, good teamwork and communication skills.

Then you should apply for this position in the MPS D&E team. The MPS D&E team is a relative small team (~50 people), based in Netherlands and Taiwan. The D&E engineers work directly with our stake-holders and are involved from idea to product introduction.

Context of the position

Business Line Mature Products and Services is responsible for the installed base of PAS 5500 steppers and scanners.

Within BL MPS, Design & Engineering deliver structural solutions to support PAS 5500 installed base by providing refurbished systems, upgrades, spare-parts and service to our customers.

To extend the support of the PAS5500, BL MPS will do a full redesign of the PAS 5500 electronics. The position we are looking for is an Electronic Integrator to coordinate the integration of the rack redesigns into PAS 5500 installed base.

Role and responsibilities

• Contribute to the introduction of the PAS-LTE redesigns to the field and manufacturing.
• Test the PAS-LTE rack-redesigns, within the restrictions imposed by the system, its usage, specifications, costs and planning considerations.
• Perform these Development Projects by co-working with Internal/External stakeholders and integrate the solutions into PAS 5500 systems.
• Job Description
• Responsible for the electrical integration of the rack redesigns in the existing PAS 5500 machines.
• Co-work with the D&E team in the total design phase including aftercare.
• Create the test setups to validate the rack redesigns.
• Create integration test-plans (TPS) to ensure the racks meet the EPS requirements, such as machine-performance, reliability, manufacturability, testability and mandatory standards.
• Perform the test-plans, analyze the measurement results and create the test report and give recommendations (TAR).
• Manage the EMC, EMI and ESD qualification at the supplier (for this we plan to provide an EMC training).
• The position includes occasional traveling to customers/Taiwan office
• Support/Transfer knowledge to production- and service-engineers.

Education and experience

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with about 5 years of working experience
• Some years experience with a multi-disciplinary environment. Experience with equipment like measurement tools, positioning systems, mechatronic assemblies and handling systems.
• Knowledge of international standards & human safety.
• Familiar with firmware & hardware description language development.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
