About this vacancy

As an Autonomous Driving Engineer at TMC, you will be responsible for developing and implementing autonomous driving algorithms using the Robot Operating System (ROS). You will work on sensor fusion, path planning, and control systems to enhance the capabilities of our autonomous vehicles. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate software and hardware components, conducting simulations, and performing real-world testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement autonomous driving algorithms using ROS
• Work on sensor fusion, path planning, and control systems
• Integrate software and hardware components for autonomous vehicles
• Conduct simulations and real-world testing to validate system performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of autonomous driving technologies
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in autonomous driving and ROS

What we expect from you

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Proven experience with ROS and autonomous driving technologies
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
• Experience with sensor fusion, path planning, and control systems
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as Gazebo or CARLA
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English
