Bike messenger in Arnhem

Do you want to get to know your city better by bike and meet fun new people in the process? Come and deliver packages by bike at Cycloon and you will discover your city like never before.

As a bicycle courier at Cycloon you start with an on-call contract for seven months. Are you unable to work due to an exam week or private circumstances? No problem! Everything can be done in consultation with your manager and planner. Straight from college or school to the location and didnt have time to eat? No problem, there is plenty of food available at the location!

What does working as a Bike Messenger entail?

• Cool cycling peloton. To regularly do social rides with or get to know the city further.
• You are important. You will be deployed based on the availability you provide.
• Good salary. Regardless of your age you earn €15,89* gross per hour. You are at least 18 years, due to stand-by shifts.
• Cool equipment. An (electric) bike, phone, navigation tools, clothing, shoes and helmet are included in the job.
• Free fuel. Straight from college or school to the office and no time to eat? No problem, there is plenty of food at the office!
• Security. You start with a seven-month contract, at Cycloon. If you perform well, you will of course receive an extension.

* Your gross hourly wage is standard € 13,58. On top of that you will receive an allowance of 7.7% to compensate for your vacations because you work on an on-call basis.

What your shift will look like

• Getting ready. Load your packages from the roll cage into the bike.
• Starter. Deliver packages to the route navigated for you.
• Chasing. Deliver the package and experience the joy of the customer!
• Finish. Return to your home base.

• You have a healthy dose of energy and good stamina.
• You enjoy working with other bike couriers and are always there for your team.
• You enjoy making customers happy with their packages?
• You know how to navigate in Google Maps
• You live in Arnhem, or with cycling distance of our location?
• You are available at least 2 days a week to cycle or stand by.

What you can expect from us

1. We will call you within two working days for a brief introduction.

2. Are we both enthusiastic? Then you cycle with an experienced courier for a day to experience what it is like to work as a bicycle courier.

3. Did everyone like it? Then we would like to welcome you to our peloton and train you to become a real bicycle courier!
