About the job

Together with Key Account Managers you are responsible for a high-level service to our (key) customers. You have excellent communication skills and are not afraid to constructively challenge others. You play a pivotal role in the excellence of our commercial execution, particularly at the back end of our commercial operations.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Understand the importance of excellence in execution by connecting the internal Danone processes & inputs with the external customer requirements to deliver on the customer/category plans and commercial agreements.
  • The purpose of this role is to support EDP Key Account Management in the Sales NL (Retail) department. External to be the first point of contact for category & buying assistants at customers and internally to coordinate cross functional customer plans & planning.
  • Promotional planning & forecasting.
  • Back-end coordination of financial & commercial agreements into the financial & business forecasting process.
  • Coordination of administrative impact of portfolio changes and innovations

The key deliverables are the following:

  • Support Key Account Management to implement customer and category plans.
  • Responsible for valuable and accurate input sales systems Danone (Kantar, TTM, Planning) Work with Demand Planning to continuously improve Forecast Accuracy on promotions.
  • Control deliveries and invoices (TTM).
  • Follow up and process claims a.o.

Your main interaction - internally - is with the Key Account managers, other Customer Support teams, across teams/channels; Demand Planning, Finance, DBS (Danone Business Services teams) etc. Externally, you’re the first point of contact for customers, i.e. assistant category managers, assistant buyers and administrative teams from customers.

About you
  • Bachelor or Master educational/working level
  • Min. 1 year of commercial experience (BtB environment)
  • Fluent in Dutch
  • Communication skills, Able to engage constructively externally
  • Proactive, able to demonstrate agility
  • Preferably experience in Dutch FMCG market, on commercial support roles
