Job Mission

Our EUV-BL D&E Business Optimization & Strategy (BOAS) is setup to support the D&E business line staff (NXE & EXE):

• Business optimization: as ASML we require state-of-the-art methodologies/ way of working and optimized organizational structure. Our team supports the BL-VPs in daily operational topics and continuous improvement activities to improve our execution capabilities resulting in ASML’s competitive position (keywords: data analytics, budget management, driving towards results, stakeholder management in various domains)

• Strategy: Our team drives and/or contributes to strategic initiatives within the D&E or x-sector enabling to ASMLs growth challenges and product roadmap ambitions (keywords: project mgt skills, self-propelling, change management, driving towards results, stakeholder management in various domains)

As a (Senior) BOAS team member you are positioned as an independent team member of our team.

You are responsible for:

• Implementing and improving business optimizations and/or strategic initiatives. Typically you are responsible for a specific domain/topic within our team e.g. related to financial management, providing guidance during the financial forecasting (budget) process and proactively assisting regular financial management and reporting, D&E way of working, effectiveness of our organization, reporting.
• Driving , you are the one that works/steers towards tangible results with strong focus on continues improvements. Depending on your workload you drive and/or contribute to one or more strategic initiatives which we defined within the EUV cluster (on top off your specific domain).
• Pro-actively connecting , to stakeholders relevant to your domain/topic, you need to be able to anticipate and balances the needs of multiple (senior) stakeholders.
• Effective and transparent communicates that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
• Collaboration between individuals and groups, building partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
• Planning & alignment of your plans, you need to be able to prioritize your work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
• Competence growth of our BOAS team; sharing learnings, insights, build competences strengthening our team

• Excellent communicator, being able to influence without hierarchical power, and creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders
• Ability to guide, coach and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improving the project and process maturity level of the organization

Education and experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or other relevant fields
• Least 5 years of working experience in related fields, practical experience in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment
• Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects
• Experience in an Agile/SAFe environment
• Experience in leading a (project) team and individual people

Context of the position

The role is positioned within ASML EUV-BL D&E Business Optimization & Strategy team (BOAS). We are positioned with direct report to Menno Fien (BL-EXE-VP) and dotted line to Jan Freark Hoogkamp (BL-NXE-VP). Both represent D&E at the EUV business line. As new BOAS team member you will have 4 colleagues.

This is a full-time position (40 hours). Working part-time is negotiable as long as youre available for at least 32 hours.
